I am from Southwestern Pennsylvania. There are many little coal mining towns, which brought many immigrants from Eastern Europe. My grandparents were from Italy, and Hungary. They immigrated to the United States in the early 1900's.

I am lucky to have a Family History Center of the Latter Day Saints in my town. There I found my grandfather's birth record from Hungary on a microfilm I ordered.

My surnames are: Cable, Callihan, Dick, Hice, Hockensmith, Hornyak, Moraca, Montisona/Montesona, Niznik, Steetle, and Vincenzi/Vincenzo.
